Jeff graduated from South Christian High School and went on to graduate with honors from MSU in the Turfgrass Management program.  After working in the family business for seven years, Jeff began managing the Landscape Maintenance division in 1997.  Jeff became a partner in 2001 and President in 2008.  He has served on the Board of Directors for both the Grand Rapids Landscape Maintenance Association and the Association of Grand Rapids Landscape Professionals.

Apart from working on the business, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family.  In 1998 he married his childhood sweetheart, Laura.  His passions include raising their children, instructing them, and striving to teach them to honor God in all they do.  As a family, they enjoy camping, 4-H, serving the church, and the thrill of learning.


VP of Sales & Marketing

Dan began working for Sneller in 1997 on the landscape maintenance and installation crews. After graduating with honors from MSU in the Landscape/Nursery program in 2003, he began working with clients through the landscape design and installation process. He became a partner in 2006 and later became Vice President in 2008. These days, Dan is responsible for implementing our plans for business growth and development, as well as other aspects of general business management and improvement. Dan enjoys attending multiple formal and informal gatherings each year with the best in the snow management industry.

Dan is a Certified Snow Professional (CSP) through the Snow & Ice Management Association. This is a certification based on extensive testing and knowledge of all aspects of the snow industry.

When not working on the business, he enjoys spending time with his family and serving the church. His family and personal interests include camping, working on their hobby farm, shooting sports, and the sport of schutzhund.


General Manager of Operations

Gavin started working for Sneller as a lawn maintenance foreman in 2007 as a recent graduate of Grand Valley State University. He quickly took over the leadership of all lawn maintenance crews before becoming our Operations Manager in 2010, then General Manager of Operations in 2016. He now spends most of his time analyzing, planning, and developing our systems to ensure consistent quality and efficient service.

Away from work, Gavin enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their three children. He also enjoys golfing, watching sports, and serving his community.


Sale Manager

Bryan is the Sales Manager and applies his knowledge to this position from his wide range of past experience in dairy farming, greenhouse growing and retail, tool and die trade, and in landscape and pool construction. He graduated with an Associate in Applied Arts and Science in Landscape Management from Grand Rapids Community College and Michigan State University and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Davenport University.

Bryan is married to Rachel with a growing family of four children. Together they look forward to homeschooling and instructing their children. In addition to family time, he spends time serving in his church and collecting firewood to heat his 1890’s farmhouse, which they are slowly remodeling. He also enjoys family vacations, big game hunting, and fishing.


Sales & Account Manager

Caleb joined the Sneller team in October of 2018, after graduating from Ferris State University with a criminal justice degree. He enjoys the fast-paced and ever-changing field of work in snow and grounds management. Meeting with clients, and helping to fill their needs, along with the multitude and variety of their situations, brings satisfaction to Caleb for a job well done.

Aside from work, Caleb enjoys time traveling with his wife and taking walks with her. He spends time coaching soccer at Zion Christian, watching any type of sports event and baking. Caleb has involved in his church and his local community. He enjoys trying out new foods, and restaurants. "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."


Account Manager

Greg graduated from South Christian High School and went on to Ferris State University where he earned a degree in Building Construction Technology Management. Greg has over 12 years of management experience in the building and landscaping trades. Greg started working with Sneller, during the winter season in 2008, as a loader operator plowing snow for 5 years and then became an Area Manager. He joined the growing Sneller team full time in 2016 where he is using his management experience as an Account Manager helping to make sure the customers needs are always met.

“During my first year plowing for Sneller I was drawn to the Sneller culture. The way everyone worked together as a team to make sure the customers expectations and needs were met every time it snowed. It was something you couldn’t help but want to be apart of.”

During his time away from work Greg enjoys spending time with his wife Jaci and their 3 kids, Jacob, Gerrit, & Madelynn, camping, boating, snow skiing and attending many sporting events the kids are participating in. In his free time Greg relaxes by working around the yard, building things with his hands, and reading. He also is active in his church and kids school.


Account Manager & Operations

Josh has been with Sneller since 2013. After graduating from Ferris State University in 2012, he spent a year teaching. He has fulfilled several roles during this time, which has led to him gaining knowledge of many aspects of the field. He enjoys the multitude and variety of tasks associated with his roles. For snow-related activities, Josh is an Area Manager in the Grand Rapids area, where his primary focus is ensuring timely and consistent service to our clients. During the green season, Josh splits his time assisting in Operations running a crew as well as working as an Account Manager.


Account Manager

Vince comes to us with over 20 years of management experience and enjoys the culture here at Sneller Snow and Grounds. He started out as a snow plow operator and Salt truck driver. Last winter transitioned into an Area Manager role in Lansing. This spring is serving our clients from an Account Manager role.

Away from work he enjoys serving in his church and participating in mission trips when he is able. He loves family time with his wife Janet, 3 married children and his 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson. Enjoys the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and biking.


Office Manager

Dave has over 30 years' management experience, including owning and operating Woodland House of Kitchens for 20 years in West Michigan. Recently, Dave has been in the property management field with NAI Wisinski of West Michigan in their accounting department. Dave joined the Sneller team in 2013 in the role of Office Manager. He likes working closely with operations and upper management to help ensure client satisfaction and company profitability. He continues to be impressed at the skill and devotion shown throughout the Sneller organization to consistently achieve both of these objectives.

Not knowing what each day will bring, but always being up for the challenge keeps Dave motivated. He likes the variety of different tasks that come his way, and strives to handle them with attention to detail, integrity, and customer-focused service.

Dave has a BA in Business Administration from Calvin College. He’s blessed to be married to Mindy and they have three children. In his spare time, Dave enjoys building things, being outdoors with his family, reading, traveling, and being active in both his local church and children’s school.


Regional Manager

Stephen Graduated from Tri-Unity Christian High school in 2003. He worked in the landscape install field until 2006, when he joined the United States Army Infantry, where he served for four years. He joined our team in 2010 as a Pruning foreman and now leads our Landscape Project team. In the winter, he is our Regional Manager for the Grand Rapids area.

During his off time, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife Jenny and son Karl. He likes to be outdoors and to go fishing every chance he gets.


Regional Manager

Jason has been with Sneller since 2008. He has fulfilled several roles during this time, which has led to him gaining knowledge of many aspects of the field. He enjoys the multitude and variety of tasks associated with his roles. For snow-related activities, Jason is our Regional Manager of the Lansing area, where his primary focus is ensuring timely and consistent service to our clients. During the green season, Jason leads the landscape maintenance pruning crews.

Away from work, Jason appreciates the outdoors during all seasons, from the spring steelhead run to the fall whitetail harvest. Jason also takes joy in dirt bike riding and spending time with his fiancée.


Regional Manager - Lansing

JT began with Sneller as a seasonal sidewalk worker when he first moved to Lansing in 2013. As the Lansing branch grew, he became a key player its development and now acts as the regional manager of the Lansing branch. He received his BA from Saginaw Valley State University but considers himself a lifetime learner. Outside of work, JT and his wife, Ashley, renovate and remodel homes. He also plays hockey and works as a recording artist in a local Lansing music studio, as well as in his own studio, recording drums, guitar, bass, vocals, keyboard, and cello.


Shop & Fleet Manager

Brandon graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio with a degree in Automotive Technology and a minor in Business. He has been with Sneller since 2008. In his role as the Fleet Manager, he is responsible for managing the equipment and performing the maintenance on the company equipment year-round. During the winter months, he also enjoys working with our plow truck operators on efficiency and quality.

His life away from work is adventurous. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel and two sons, Jamisen and Titus, as well as camping, boating, and snowmobiling. Brandon also enjoys God’s creation from the end of a fishing pole and many tree stands during whitetail season.


Account Manager Assistant

Phyllis has over 30 years of office experience which includes working in Human Resources as an analyst at Spectrum Health and as a loan manager at Conseco Finance. During those years she has had a wide variety of responsibilities. Phyllis joined the account management and sales team in 2017. She is customer focused and assists each department with their daily duties.


Accounts Payable/Payroll

Cindy graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Accounting. After graduation, she worked for a local public accounting firm before moving on to accounting work in private businesses--now including Sneller Snow & Grounds. Cindy has maintained the accounts payable and payroll accounting tasks for the company since 2012.

Cindy and her husband Brett enjoy doing family with four children: homeschooling since 1999, traveling together, doing ministry together, and looking for joy wherever they can. Occasionally, Cindy has a chance to read, which is one of her favorite personal hobbies.


Systems Analyst

Henry is our Systems Analyst. He applies his knowledge of computer technology to our business systems at Sneller. Henry has many years of experience in technical management, having worked for twenty-six years in the roof truss industry in design and management. He served several years as general manager of Reformed Fellowship, a small non-profit publishing company.

Henry is a graduate of Calvin College and an elder in his church. He and his wife Annette have two children.


Cost Accountant

Ryan graduated from Davenport University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2012. He worked in an accounting department in the manufacturing industry before coming to Sneller Snow & Grounds full time in 2017. Ryan started his employment originally on a part-time basis on the evening shovel crew in 2014.

When he is not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife Alaina and their two daughters Grace and Hope. Every 4th of July and Labor Day they make the family pilgrimage to Drummond Island with their extended family. He also enjoys reading and relaxing by the backyard fire pit.


Fleet Mechanic

Bob attended Ferris State University for Automotive Technology and is a certified Master Mechanic. He has been a fleet mechanic with Sneller Snow & Grounds for the last two years and is responsible for performing maintenance on equipment.

In his free time, Bob loves hunting, fishing, and anything involving the outdoors, and he spends as much time up north as he can. He lives in Wyoming, Michigan with his wife, Rachel and their two dogs.
